About me
Mental Health First Aid Training in Inverness and beyond –
Cormack Mental Health
I believe in the power of quality, in-person training that builds both confidence and connection. My mission is to "raise all the boats in the harbour"-a nod to the idea that when we lift the overall culture of wellbeing, everyone benefits in the workplace & the communities we live in.
Rooted in the community and committed for the long term, I work alongside the people I support -through training, assessment and consultancy-to create workplaces that are not only supportive, but built to thrive together.
I am committed to a thriving Highlands. We strive to create supportive workplaces that address mental health challenges with proactively and with confidence.
By fostering a supportive culture, we enhance employee wellbeing and create positive ripple effects across the wider community. Together, we build knowledge, reduce stigma and nurture lasting resilience. Through mental health awareness and open dialogue, we strive for everyone to feel seen, heard and valued in their working lives.

Compassionate Leadership
I consistently show a deep commitment to caring for others, whether it’s through mental health support, leadership development for young athletes, or staff wellbeing in workplaces. You lead with empathy and help others do the same.
-
Integrity
I demonstrate integrity in my approach to consultancy -no gimmicks or empty promises. Whether it’s advocating for statutory MHFA in Scotland or building long-term support models like Storm-Ready Support, you focus on meaningful, ongoing change.
-
Empowering through Knowledge
My teaching background, MHFA training and coaching all reflect a strong drive to educate and equip others, from HR leaders to teenagers-so they can better support themselves and those around them.
-
Relatabillty
I meet people where they are - whether it's an HR lead with staff challenges, a teenage rugby player or a struggling workplace team. My tone is down-to-earth, my tools are practical, and my delivery is human. I avoid jargon, use the Highlands and Scottish context where relevant and create content people genuinely connect with.
